We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services for Wayne RESA. The Occupational Therapist will work with students to support their participation and success in the educational environment by addressing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.
Assignment Details
Onsite position
2.5 days per week
School year assignment
August 24 through June 4
Responsibilities
Evaluate students and develop individualized therapy plans
Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions
Support student independence and access to the educational environment
Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist license
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage caseload and documentation requirements effectively
Commitment to supporting student growth and success
