Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Devils Lake, ND

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule:
• 5x8 Shifts
• 40 Hours per Week

Setting: Outpatient Therapy

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for an outpatient therapy assignment. Candidates must have inpatient and/or outpatient therapy experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapy services based on patient diagnosis, symptoms, and physician orders
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, assistive devices, and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and discharge coordination
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately within EPIC EMR
• Identify changes in patient conditions and communicate appropriately with healthcare teams
• Coordinate therapy schedules and ensure efficient patient care delivery
• Provide clinical supervision and support to Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) as required
• Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
• Inpatient and/or outpatient therapy experience required
• Active North Dakota Occupational Therapist license required upon acceptance
• NBCOT OTR/L certification required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
