Occupational Therapist (OTR) Responsibilities
• Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function
• Monitor a patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement
• Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients
• Document patient’s weekly progress in appropriate records
• Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory
• Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient's treatment program
• Maintain valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and a valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
