Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Lymphedema

Location: Fayetteville, GA
Contract: 24 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, 4x10-hour shifts | 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Weekend: None
Call: None
Rate: Up to $2,450. Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of OT experience
• Lymphedema Certification required and must be in hand
• Georgia OT license required
• NBCOT required
• BLS required
• Experience with lymphedema management and splinting
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients

Responsibilities & Skills

• Perform OT evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide lymphedema management and treatment
• Assess and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment
• Perform splinting and orthotic management
• Provide manual therapy and therapeutic interventions
• Treat patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions
• Work with patients recovering from hip and knee replacements
• Provide patient and family education
• Complete reassessments, progress documentation and discharge planning
• Collaborate with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, SLPs and wound care staff
