Job Description
Nahant Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to provide services to students in PreK-Grade 6 at Johnson Elementary School. This is a contractual position with flexible scheduling, ideal for a skilled and collaborative OT who is passionate about supporting student access and independence in an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs.
- Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Present results and recommendations at IEP meetings.
- Provide direct OT services as outlined in student IEPs.
- Consult with educators, families, and staff to support student progress.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals and strategies.
- Supervise a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development.
- Support school-based initiatives as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices.
