School Occupational Therapist
School Hours: 7:00am-6:00pm/ Part-time/20 Hours Per Week/Variable Hours
Location: Catherine Hershey Schools-New Danville Pa.
POSITION SUMMARY: The CHS Hershey School Occupational Therapist is an individual who cares deeply about the health and well-being of children. This individual will be responsible for being an active member of the Child Support Team, performing developmental assessments and creating plans to implement occupational therapy services and strategies to children in need of additional supports in the ECE setting. In addition, this individual will provide recommendations for continued skill achievement and monitor the execution of such. This individual will work closely with other members of the CHS staff to help them stay updated on individualized child needs and ways to assist in the progress towards goal achievement. The occupational therapist reports to the Health Services Manager; At Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS), we are passionate about nurturing children, empowering families, and strengthening communities through high-quality early childhood education. We provide year-round weekday care and education to children from six weeks to age five from under-resourced and overburdened backgrounds, with all costs covered for qualifying families. As a subsidiary of Milton Hershey School, CHS is part of a $350 million initiative to develop six Early Childhood Education Centers across Pennsylvania.
