HBA Therapy Services, is an in-house therapy company with three facilities in Broward County.  We are seeking a compassionate and skilled per diem Occupational Therapists to join our team and provide high-quality care to our clients in a supportive and collaborative environment where your skills and dedication are valued. The Occupational Therapist will assess clients' functional abilities, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help clients improve their physical, cognitive, and motor skills and abilities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and be able to work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals.

A Glimpse into the Job Responsibilities:

·       Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and needs

·       Develop and implement treatment plans based on client goals and needs

·       Provide therapy sessions to help clients improve their physical, cognitive, and motor skills

·       Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment

·       Document clients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records

·       Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills

·       Other duties as assigned

 

We are Looking for a Qualified Candidate with:

·       Current state license as an Occupational Therapist

·       Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and ability to apply them in practice

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

·       Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
