Regions has multiple weekday and weekend shifts available for a per diem OT!

This OT per diem position requires 2 weekend shifts per month as well as one holiday per year. We also have consistent weekday shifts to help cover staff who have worked weekends as well as several planned leaves of absence and are preferring candidates who have an interest in weekday shift coverage.

This position will primarily serve adult patients on acute units of our Level 1 trauma hospital. Training into our 21-bed CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility is offered based on interest, experience and readiness. This position provides an opportunity to work with a wide range of diagnoses: general medical, general deconditioning, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord, orthopedic, intensive medical and cardiac units, and observation units. We provide a thorough on-boarding process to all new hires and mentorship from experienced staff is available. Regions Rehabilitation offers in-services on a wide range of topics that can help grow your clinical experience.

Per diem positions are an excellent first step toward full time positions in our hospital.

Work Schedule:

7:00am-3:00 or 7:30-3:30

2 weekend shifts each month

1 holiday per year

Consistent weekday shifts are available to cover leaves of absence in 2026 and into 2027.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Licensed in MN as an Occupational Therapist

  • Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist

  • Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy within 6 months

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in similar settings/diagnosis.

  • Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
