Occupational Therapist Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds to help them overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges that may impact their daily lives. Your main responsibility will be to provide therapeutic interventions and treatments to improve clients' ability to perform daily tasks and activities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine their needs and develop treatment plans

- Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques to help clients improve their functional abilities and achieve their goals

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and psychologists, to create a comprehensive treatment plan for each client

- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed

- Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to facilitate independence and improve quality of life

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all treatments and progress notes

- Adhere to ethical and professional standards as set forth by the Occupational Therapy Association

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and therapeutic techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Willingness to continue learning and staying updated on best practices in the field

Schedule and Compensation:

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. There is no weekend rotation required for this position. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $35 to $44 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
