BayCare is currently in search of our newest Acute Care Occupational Therapist Pool/PRN who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Acute Care Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, mobility, and safety.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive equipment training.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and case managers.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve independence and safety at home.
• Participate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate follow-up services.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OT (Occupational Therapy)
• Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
• Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy
