Provides occupational therapy to patients, adult or geriatric, who have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling. Performs goal-directed activities to help improve physical or cognitive skills and teaches patients to use assistive devices in order to be more self-sufficient.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and with certification from the National Board of Certification Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Alabama.
Minimum of two (2) years experience preferred.
