About Our Facilities

Our organization operates Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that offer:

  • Long-term care: Support for residents needing ongoing skilled assistance and compassionate daily care.
  • Short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation: Services for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
  • Collaborative care: An interdisciplinary team approach involving nursing, therapy, and medical staff working in unison.

The patient demographic may vary slightly by facility. As a therapy professional, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve functional improvements and enhance their quality of life in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Position Overview: Occupational Therapist (OT)

The Occupational Therapist will deliver direct rehabilitation services in occupational therapy to patients referred by physicians, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT)
  • New graduates are welcome to submit their applications
  • Participation in community health initiatives/projects as appropriate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
  • Ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and support departments
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, and regulations governing post-acute care facilities
Responsibilities
  • Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive information
  • Understand and adhere to organizational policies, including those related to harassment and compliance
  • Exhibit integrity and professionalism by following the organization's Code of Conduct
  • Complete mandatory compliance training, including the Code of Conduct
  • Supervise and assess the care provided by Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), Rehabilitation Aides, and students
  • Utilize therapy software accurately and effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language
