Description

American Traveler is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist with prior school-based experience for a full-time, on-site assignment supporting middle school students.

Details

  • On-site position at Thomas Middle School and South Middle School
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m
  • Full-time position preferred; part-time candidates also considered for two openings
  • Part of a team of eight Occupational Therapists serving the district
  • Middle school student population

Requirements

  • Previous school-based experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • CPS (Fingerprinting) and CANTS background checks required prior to start

Additional Information

  • Support middle school building-level teams across two school sites
  • Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility
  • Provide MTSS and IEP support to students
  • Consult with staff and teams to support generalization of skills across school settings
