Key Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active, current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent experience providing OT services within a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, administrative staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' functional abilities and needs related to education
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and therapeutic plans
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities or support accommodations
- Document progress and adapt strategies to reflect each student's evolving needs
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student support
- Provide consultative services and resources to classroom staff and families
