Occupational Therapist School Setting in Daly City, CA

Step into an impactful role supporting students' educational journeys as an Occupational Therapist. In this contract-based position, you'll work three days each week (.6 FTE) throughout the full school year, collaborating with educators and families to empower students with diverse needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in California
• Prior experience in school-based settings highly preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Dedication to creating inclusive, supportive environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' needs and develop tailored therapy plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure students' success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate, compliant records of services and student progress
• Offer consultative support and training to staff to integrate OT strategies into classrooms
