Occupational Therapist School Setting in Irvine, CA

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active California OT license required
• Previous experience in a school environment, ideally with elementary-aged children
• Comfort managing a range of student needs, including IEP participation and collaboration with teachers/support staff
• Willingness to work full-time; part-time availability may be considered for the right candidate
• Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent changes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services primarily to elementary-aged students
• Assess and document student needs, progress, and outcomes
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams, assisting with evaluations, programming, and IEP meetings
• Provide direct intervention as well as consultative guidance to educators and families
• Help facilitate a positive, accessible learning environment for students with various needs
