You'll provide occupational therapy services in a dynamic K-12 school environment. This contract role offers the chance to work face-to-face, support students via teletherapy, and apply your expertise across various healthcare and home health settings. A variety of cases will allow you to further develop your skills, collaborate with educators, and help students reach their potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
Experience with school-based occupational therapy (K-12 strongly preferred)
Comfortable delivering therapy in person, via teletherapy, and home health as needed
Ability to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently for the full school year
Skilled communicator eager to engage with students, families, and school teams
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for K-12 students
Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational and developmental goals
Flexibly provide therapy in schools, home settings, or remotely as required
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with staff and families
