KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Demonstrates best practice and accountability in the performance of assessment, reassessment, development, and implementation of the patient's therapy plan of care. Consults with other disciplines as required to coordinate patient care services. • Provides guidance, support, and education to promote patient advocacy and enhance outcomes in the use of adaptive techniques, treatments, interventions in the activities of daily living/independent activities of daily living, strengthening, conditioning, cognition, perception, coping, and leisure skills. • Functions collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team or independently to effectively and efficiently provide safe and quality treatment for the desired outcome. Makes referrals to an appropriate health care practitioner if the symptoms or conditions are present that require services beyond the scope of practice of occupational therapy. • Delegates appropriately to occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides to support patient needs while maintaining accountability for the care plan with a demonstrated understanding of the competency level of those delegated. Supports learning and teaching opportunities to further enhance the skill set of care team members. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited school of occupational therapy Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited school of occupational therapy

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
