Occupational Therapist

Therapy World LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Statesville, NC. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and work skills
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies for home and community settings
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina
• NBCOT certification (OTR) required or in process
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
• Experience in a clinical, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
