OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, Acute Care

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, Stevens Point, WI

Full Time (.9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period) - Primarily Monday - Friday day shift, weekends if needed

Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy to acute care patients. Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards, considering the needs of the patient as it pertains to the age and diagnosis of the patient. This is an in-patient position to include acute hospital, swing bed, and SNF settings with a wide variety of diagnoses and patient positions.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices is normally acquired through a minimum of a bachelor''s degree in occupational therapy.
• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist beneficial.
• Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license required.
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
