Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Boston, MA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in an inpatient rehab hospital setting. This role involves providing care across inpatient floors, treating patients from birth through elderly age with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider) required. At least 1 year of experience in the acute care hospital environment required. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of acute care hospital experience. Familiarity with acute care hospital workflows, patient handling skills, and transfer techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including nursing, physicians, and case management.

Preferred Qualifications

ICU experience preferred. Experience working with diverse patient populations preferred. Experience with EPIC documentation preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 0800–1600. Schedule: Monday through Friday. Productivity goal: approximately 5.2 hours billable in an 8-hour day; typical patient load allows seeing 6–7 patients per day with a patient list of 8–15. Therapists provide coverage throughout inpatient floors of the hospital. Department uses dark gray scrubs.
