Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• 2 years of previous OT experience required.
• Driver's License required.
• Must not have been employed by the health system within the last 12 months.
• Must have own vehicle.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• 40 hours per week.
• No weekend requirement.
• Coverage area includes up to 50 miles from Fort Dodge.
• Average travel is 200 to 250 miles per week.

Location Highlights

Fort Dodge offers access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions in north-central Iowa. Brushy Creek State Recreation Area is about 20 minutes from Fort Dodge and features more than 45 miles of multiuse trails, boating, and fishing. Dolliver Memorial State Park is roughly 30 minutes away and includes scenic bluff views above the Des Moines River and several miles of hiking trails. Within the city, the Blanden Memorial Art Museum and the Fort Museum and Frontier Village provide cultural and historical points of interest, while Des Moines is about 90 miles south for additional dining, shopping, and airport access.
