    Job Description

    Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.


    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
    • Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from AHA or ARC.
    • Demonstrated competency in completing comprehensive OT evaluations, establishing measurable functional goals, and documenting per departmental and regulatory standards.
    • Experience providing OT services in an acute hospital setting preferred.
    • Ability to assist patients with transfers and ambulation; may be required to lift up to 75 pounds.
    • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and common patient care software required.
    • Willingness to work varied caseloads and adapt to changing schedules. Travel clinicians must be prepared to meet facility onboarding requirements and any additional vendor-requested credentials prior to start.
    • Preferred: experience supervising COTAs, therapy technicians, or students and participating in department process improvement initiatives.

    Assignment Details

    • Facility type: Hospital.
    • Shift name: Days.
    • Shift hours: 0800-0430.
    • Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
    • Start window: early July through early October (seasonal assignment dates provided by client).
    • Candidate must perform patient evaluations, plan and provide individualized OT treatment, document per department time frames, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
    • May be required to assist other patient care areas and accept varied work schedules as needed.
