Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Delaware State OT license required prior to the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for adults with medical, orthopedic, neurologic, or cognitive impairments.
• Documentation experience consistent with facility and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.
• Ability to manage caseloads in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Preferred: Experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL retraining, durable medical equipment recommendations, and discharge planning.

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
• Schedule: 5x8 (Monday through Friday).
• VMS Contract Weeks: 14-week assignment.
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week.

Commuting to larger urban centers is feasible; Dover is about 45 minutes away and Wilmington is approximately 1.5 hours by car. Local options include fishing on the Nanticoke River, nearby wildlife areas for birding, and community events in downtown Seaford for a quieter, family-friendly experience.
