Contract Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Valley Cottage, NY | Clinic-Based Pediatric OT
Giant Leaps Occupational Therapy is seeking a passionate, play-based Occupational Therapist to join our supportive pediatric clinic team!
We are looking for a warm, collaborative clinician who enjoys helping children build confidence, regulation, independence, and functional skills through engaging, child-centered therapy.
Schedule
- Sundays
- 1–3 weekday afternoons/evenings (after school hours)
- Flexible contract position
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, play-based OT sessions
- Support development in sensory processing, fine motor, motor planning, emotional regulation, executive functioning, ADLs, and visual motor skills
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support meaningful progress
- Complete documentation and treatment planning in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Current NYS Occupational Therapy License
- NBCOT Certification
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience with sensory integration/play-based therapy strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
