Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist works under the Early Intervention Program Director as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to children from birth to three years of age in a family-centered program.  The Occupational Therapist works directly with children and their families in the children's natural environments, including, but not limited to, the children's homes and/or daycare settings. What You'll Do

Completing assessments and writing objectivesDesign and implement functional activities that address students' occupational therapy needs.Provide consultation and training to classroom staff, ensuring effective strategies are used daily.Consulting with classroom staff regarding students' OT needsOffer direct therapy services when needed, applying evidence-based techniquesCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to IEP evaluations and ongoing student support.

What You Bring

Education: Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapyLicensure: Valid and current license as an OT in MassachusettsSkills: Demonstrated commitment to student progress, ability to multitask and take initiative in multitaskingQualities: Finds enjoyment working with a multi-disciplinary team
