Overview
The Occupational Therapist works under the Early Intervention Program Director as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally and linguisticallyappropriate servicesto childrenfrombirth to three years of age in a family-centered program. The Occupational Therapist works directly withchildren and their families in the childrens natural environments including but not limited to the childrens homesandor daycare settings. Responsibilities
Completing assessmentsand writing objectives
Design and implementfunctional activitiesthat address students occupational therapy needs.
Provideconsultation and trainingto classroom staff ensuring effective strategies are used daily.
Consultingwithclassroom staffregardingstudents OT needs
Offerdirect therapy serviceswhen needed applying evidence-based techniques
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team contributing toIEP evaluations and ongoing student support.

Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapy
Licensure
Valid and current license as an OT in Massachusetts
