Responsibilities

Create personalized care plans that address physical, cognitive, and emotional deficits to help patients regain their independence and quality of life.

Implement evidence-based treatments using modern modalities while documenting each patients progress to ensure a clear and accurate record of their recovery journey.

Lead family and caregiver education to provide the necessary support and training for a safe, successful transition during the patients discharge.

Oversee and mentor the therapy team, including assistants and technicians, to maintain high standards of care and ensure every patient receives consistent, high-quality attention.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelors degree required.
• Masters degree preferred.
