Position: Occupational Therapist
Location: 2 Rehab Sites (19 miles apart)
Schedule: 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday (No Weekend Rotation)
Salary: $39-44 per hour
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at two rehab sites located 19 miles apart. This position offers a flexible schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with no weekend rotation required. The Occupational Therapist will share coverage between the two sites, working 2 days at one location and 3 days at the other.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical and mental abilities to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to, neurological, orthopedic, and developmental disorders
- Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to improve patients' functional abilities and promote independence in daily activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive equipment and techniques to improve their quality of life
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to travel between the two rehab sites as needed
