About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary care team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence, functional performance, and improved quality of life.

This role involves close collaboration with clients, families, educators, and healthcare professionals across various care settings while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, motor function, sensory integration, cognitive skills, and social participation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, caregivers, and family members.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment strategies, home exercise programs, and functional independence.
• Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active New York State Occupational Therapist license.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with pediatric, adult, or geriatric populations preferred.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
