    Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

    We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and student-centered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This position will support our students in LEARN magnets and district contracts.

    Day to day:

    • Collaborate with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive student programming.
    • Administer screenings, assessments and direct interventions with students.
    • Collaboratively develop IEPs to support students to access and engage in their learning and school environments.
    • Monitor and evaluate student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis and review meetings

    Qualifications:

    • Appropriate certifications and coursework.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of developmental milestones and evidence-based assessments and interventions
    • In-depth understanding of students with complex needs.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to follow therapy plans, document progress accurately, and communicate effectively with supervising therapists and educational teams.
    • Commitment to student dignity, inclusion, confidentiality, safety, and equitable access to learning.
    • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, positioning, and supporting students when needed.
