We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and student-centered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This position will support our students in LEARN magnets and district contracts.

Day to day:
Collaborate with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive student programming.
Administer screenings, assessments and direct interventions with students.
Collaboratively develop IEPs to support students to access and engage in their learning and school environments.
Monitor and evaluate student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis and review meetings
Qualifications:
Appropriate certifications and coursework.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of developmental milestones and evidence-based assessments and interventions
In-depth understanding of students with complex needs.
Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to follow therapy plans, document progress accurately, and communicate effectively with supervising therapists and educational teams.
Commitment to student dignity, inclusion, confidentiality, safety, and equitable access to learning.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, positioning, and supporting students when needed.
