Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is actively seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide in-person services in a clinic-based setting, supporting clients ages 19 months through 21 years. This is a year-round position for the current school year.

Occupational Therapy AssistantPosition Details:

• Setting: Clinic-based
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–7:00 PM OR 9:00 AM-5:00 PM 
• Ages: 19 months–21 years old
• Population: Verbal and nonverbal clients

Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualification(s):

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Virginia
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities May Include:

• Support the personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational goals of students through tailored therapy plans.
• Conduct evaluations and create targeted goals for students needing occupational therapy services.
• Contribute to and support students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation.
