About Our Therapy Team

We're a large, close-knit rehabilitation team that values collaboration, mutual respect, trust, and continuous learning . Our team includes both experienced clinicians and new graduates, creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow.

As a COTA, you'll work closely with Occupational Therapists and a multidisciplinary care team while benefiting from the support of two dedicated Rehab Aides for treatment setup and assistance.

Your Role as a COTA

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve their functional goals.

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions according to the established treatment plan
• Assist patients with improving ADLs, functional mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
• Implement therapeutic activities designed to support functional recovery
• Monitor and communicate patient progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Collaborate with OT, nursing, therapy professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Promote patient safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Current and valid California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license/certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
