Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: 

  • Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences, and other required meetings as a representative of occupational therapy, under the direction of the Occupational Therapist. 

  • Establishes treatment schedule and provides frequency of services as determined by the IFSP plan. Communicates and documents changes to the IEP or IFSP as needed under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist. 

  • Works with other members of the treatment team to develop programs and activities consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient and participates in coordination of care meetings to ensure holistic patient care. 

  • Monitors the child’s response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with the IEP or IFSP plan. 

  •  Acts as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist when the Occupational Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. 

  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
