Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist - Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Haverhill, MA.

- Contract: 13 weeks

- Hourly Pay: $ 30.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $1,246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $2,146.00
- Weekend Requirements: Rotating Weekends/Holiday Coverage Required if needed
- 8hrs non-billable orientation
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively screens/evaluates patients and/ with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including but not limited to: ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc.
- Assesses patient’s progress and adjusts treatments accordingly to the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes.
- Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
- Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
- Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Participation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.
- Participate in facility and company required training, in-services and conferences.
- Able to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Able to supervise and support occupational therapist assistants; rehabilitation aides and/or students.
- Adherence to NBCOT /AOTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as an Occupational
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of OT experience is required
- LTC or Rehab Experience is required
- OT license is required
- Must be submitted at the posted rate, if requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected
- Massachusetts State License is required
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
