As an Occupational Therapy Assistant with our team, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and confidence in their daily lives. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled OTA to join our interdisciplinary team and contribute to the success of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions designed to improve cognitive, motor, and daily living skills

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans, under the supervision of our occupational therapists

• Conduct patient assessments, record treatment outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address patient needs

• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on proper use of adaptive equipment and techniques

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of California

• 0 years of experience (new grads welcome to apply!)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
