Vertical Health Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team at Athene Nursing & Rehabilitation in Town & Country, MO.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, per your COTA scope of practice and the treatment plan of care
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADLs), adaptive equipment training, and functional mobility
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in compliance with facility, state, and Medicare/Medicaid documentation standards
• Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising OT, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care team
• Help patients and families understand and stay engaged in the rehab process

Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri, or eligible for licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience is a plus, but new grads are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
