Functions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care and support activities, as outlined in the patient's plan of treatment. In conjunction with the Occupational Therapist, utilizes a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for the development and/or rehabilitation of patients with physical, cognitive, visual/perceptual, visual-motor and functional deficits as related to Activities of Daily Living. Provides quality, cost effective treatment to SMHCS customers. Provides patient, family, and/or caregiver education. Submits concise, accurate, and complete documentation and charges.
- Require current State of Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) licensure.
