Occupational Therapy - Full-Time Contract
Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65

Job Shift:
- 8 Hour Days (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, M-F)
- Includes rotating late joint coverage (not every night)
- Last joint seen by 5:00 PM, out by 6:30 PM at latest
- No call, no weekends
- Not suitable for first-time travelers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Kansas (KSBHA) required
- NBCOT certification preferred
- BLS certification required within first 90 days if not already held
- Epic experience preferred, not required
- Experience in acute care hospital setting required
- Comfortable with transferring patients with lines and drains, and managing acutely ill diagnoses
Expected Patient Load:
- 78 patients per 8-hour shift, building to full capacity
Patient Types:
- General medicine, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, joint replacement
- ED patients less common
Daily Tasks:
- Arrive and perform chart review
- Develop and execute patient care plans/evaluations
- Participate in 12:45 PM huddle
- Schedule and care for patients until approximately noon
- Lunch break (30 minutes)
- Continue patient care in the afternoon
- May be paired with a PT during some shifts for workflow orientation
