About the Role
Our client is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments from origin countries to final destinations, manage import documentation and customs clearance, communicate with carriers and agents, and maintain shipment records.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle of ocean import shipments from origin country to final destinations
- Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments
- Track, trace, and monitor the progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
- Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in the internal system
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or ocean import operations
- Solid knowledge of ocean freight documentation, Incoterms, and U.S. customs processes
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Korean & English bilingual
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Compensation
$60,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
