Sales Hunter
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Hunter to expand their OEM customer base. The ideal candidate will excel at opening doors and setting appointments and will play a crucial role in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities withinsectors such as construction, agriculture, transportation, marine, material handling, and more. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to build relationships and navigate complex sales cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new OEM sales opportunities aligned with the ideal customer profile.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets and achieve sales quotas.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at various levels within customer organizations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (supply chain, engineering, quoting) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and customer account plans.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in OEM sales, preferably within sectors like construction, agriculture, transportation, marine, material handling, and others.
- In-depth knowledge of assembled hose systems and their applications.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% overnight.
- Must reside in close proximity to a major airport.
