Position Summary:

OFAC Agent- is responsible for obtaining required clearance and screening of OFAC origin/destination shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process inbound and outbound freight shipments to ensure timely clearance through U.S. Customs.
  • Review and process shipments efficiently while maintaining compliance with all applicable government agency regulations and requirements.
  • Screen, verify, and accurately enter data for all OFAC-regulated shipments.
  • Communicate shipment status updates and delays with DHL origin and destination stations to ensure operational visibility and coordination.
  • Examine invoices, shipment contents, and shipping documentation to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

  • Strong understanding of operations and customs processes.

Skills:

  • · Proficient in computer operations and data entry systems.
  • · Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • · Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • · Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
  • · Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, and climbing stairs/ladders.
  • · Flexibility to work PM shifts and adapt to operational requirements.
  • · Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DHL programs
