POSITION OPENING: Offensive Line Football Coach â Inspire and Empower Young Athletes!
POSITION: OFFENSIVE LINE FOOTBALL COACH
LOCATION: AVONDALE HIGH SCHOOL
REPORTS TO: ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
DATE NEEDED: ASAP
HOURS: 10-20 HOURS PER WEEK
JOB GOAL: To provide instruction of high school athletes in the fundamental skills and strategy of offensive line football and also instill moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and self-confidence. The coach will work closely with the Head Coach to implement offensive schemes, teach proper techniques, foster student-athlete development, and promote a positive team culture.

Works cooperatively with administrators, students, parents, and community.
Coach and develop varsity offensive linemen in all aspects of offensive line play. Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback.Analyze game film and assist with scouting opponents.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court.
Develop a positive team culture focused on sportsmanship, accountability, and academic success.
Ensure player safety and adherence to district, league, and MHSAA policies.
Teach proper blocking techniques, footwork, hand placement, leverage, and position-specific skills. Assist with the implementation of offensive game plans and practice plans.
Maintains control of storage and use of school-owned property.
Maintains professional competence.
Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
