Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reception Duties: Greet and assist visitors and answer phone calls. Maintain a welcoming and professional front office environment.
Visitor Information and Support Services: Provide information on college programs, events, campus navigation, and parking logistics. Guide visitors and callers to the right contacts for their specific needs.
Administrative Support: Assist with clerical duties such as filing, copying, data entry, inventory, and preparing meeting rooms. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Special Projects: Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Assist in all areas and locations for the College of Education & Human Development.
Required Competencies
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
High level of reliability.
Attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements
Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of Student Finance.
Successful completion of a criminal history background check.
Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
High level of reliability.
Attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
