Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. This position will support all areas of Academic Affairs to complete tasks and assist in projects that will allow the unit to operate more efficiently and streamline processes. Tasks include digitizing physical files, organizing digital files, assisting with updating tracking documentation, and other projects as identified by the Office of Academic Affairs staff. This position is also the first point of contact for visitors coming into the Office of Academic Affairs suite.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of current computer software/programs to include Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of administrative reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability in data entry, typing, and use of a personal computer.
  • Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and office equipment.

Additional Considerations Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel

Travel between campuses as needed.
