The Humanities department is seeking a student worker to provide office support, with a main focus on assisting students, faculty/staff or campus visitors who come into the Humanities office.
General clerical work including answering the phone and directing inquires accordingly.
Assist faculty and students with printing needs, maintaining office supply inventory (taking note of faculty requested materials), accept and distribute incoming mail, prepare documents or packages for mail pickup.
Assist faculty with various tasks like scanning course materials or running errands on campus.
Occasionally assist at events like Maroon & White Day or planning and setting up department events (egg hunt and finals fuel tables).
Manage social media.
Assist managing editor with publication.
Additional assignments include: creating marketing materials for events, propose and post social media content, give campus tours to candidates in a faculty search, tend to office plants, and light office cleaning.
