Responsibilities:
The office coordinator is responsible for daytime clerical duties of triaging/scheduling client appointments and for performing general receptionist duties of greeting/registering clients and assisting callers. The office coordinator also has responsibility for data entry, chart management, working denials for billing and coding, ordering departmental supplies, and management of KRONOS timekeeping. The Office Coordinator is responsible for overall office coordination.
Administration/Clerical:
- Answers phones, schedules patients’ appointments, obtains necessary patient and insurance information for needed services, performs electronic management of scheduling and referrals
- Process development and structuring to improve performance for front staff.
- Delegation and data entry for payment collection and supply ordering
- Delegation and management of denial and billing work queues
- Delegation and management of employee timekeeping and allocation of staff time to designated department within KRONOS
- Management of paper and electronic HIM, assuring HIPPA protection and immediate accessibility for clinicians
