Office Authorization

Job Title: Office Authorization Representative

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.50 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts to identify clinical requirements for authorization
• Contact insurance companies to obtain authorizations and benefits for office visits, procedures, and surgeries
• Collect deductibles or out-of-pocket maximums from patients before procedures or surgeries
• Navigate insurance websites to secure necessary authorizations
• Maintain strong data entry skills and knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office Suite
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members and insurance providers
• Work independently or collaboratively within a team, multitasking and managing priorities efficiently
• Apply at least two years of experience in medical authorization processes

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical authorization or related field
• Proficiency in data entry and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
