Job Description:
Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to internal and external customers.
Required Skills:
- Typing speed of 40 wpm.
- Excellent listening, writing and oral communication skills.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Excellent Organizational Skills to demonstrate initiative to work in fast pace environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands.
- Proficient in use of personal computer including word processing, presentations, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work on issues of a sensitive nature.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Experience:
A. Work Experience:
Two years clerical and administrative work-related experience required, preferably in a hospital setting.
B. License/Registration/Certification
None.
C. Education and Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
