We are looking for an Office Coordinator to join our team in Ålesund. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office and serving as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and external partners. You will play a key role in creating a professional, welcoming, and efficient work environment while supporting employees, managers, and the local leadership team across a wide range of administrative and operational activities.

The position reports to the HR Business Partner and is based in Ålesund.

This role will be open from September 1, 2026. To support a smooth transition, we would highly appreciate candidates who are available to start as early as possible.

Main responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Ålesund office, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and well-functioning workplace.
• Serve as the key contact for employees, visitors, suppliers, and office service providers.
• Coordinate office administration, facilities, travel arrangements, and workplace services.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and office events.
• Provide administrative support across multiple functions and contribute to a positive employee experience.
• Drive office improvements and support operational projects and ad hoc activities.
• Handle package reception and distribution.

Background & Competence

We''re looking for a candidate who ideally has the following background, but we are equally interested in individuals with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ideally higher education or relevant professional experience from similar roles.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good technical understanding and ability to work across different platforms.
• Valid driver''s license (Class B).
